"Nancy O. (Bailey) Dalton, who you have listed here:..."
"She was my wife's grandmother. The obituary link has all of her children listed if you want those.
"Speaking of which..
"All of her children were Daltons except the firstborn. Her firstborn, Clara Bailey (my wife's mom) was born out of wedlock on Barker's Ridge, Wyoming County to someone we only know of as what sounds like "Tarry Wyatt" or perhaps Terry White or something similar, who could have fathered a child in 1932 with the 18 year old Nancy Ollie. I've looked through your listings at the Wyatts and Whites on Barker's Ridge and don't see anyone with a weird looking "T" first name. Any ideas? Not knowing who Clara Bailey's father is puts a huge hole in my genealogy charts...."

Dorothy Elizabeth Blankenship

1. "Bluefield Daily Telegraph"; Bluefield, WV; Monday, 31 Jan 2011; Newspaper Obit.
"PRINCETON — Dorothy Elizabeth Blankenship Evans, age 82, of Princeton, formerly of Welch, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." This is the journey Dorothy Elizabeth Blankenship Evans took Saturday night, January 29, 2011 with her children at her bedside in Room 1 of ICU at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Prayers were spoken, words of thank you offered for the blessing of having her as a part of our lives, this very special lady, our mom, our maw maw, our sister, our friend. Born October 20, 1928, in Conor Rock, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Martha Finley Blankenship. "She was preceded in death by, in addition to her parents, her husband, Maynard Evans; and two brothers, Ethan Blankenship and C.G. Blankenship. "Left to share their memories of this “one of a kind” woman are her daughters, Shirley Stone and husband Eddie of Beckley, Kathy Evans Rose and husband Elmo of Princeton, Teresa Craft and husband Tommy of Fairdale; sons, Charles Evans and wife Tyann, Michael Evans and wife Teresa, all of Princeton; one sister, Maxine Mosko of Powhatan; one brother, Scott Blankenship and wife Catherine of Collinsville, Va.; fourteen grandchildren, Tommy, Timmy, Brandi, Jimmy, Michael David, Caitlin, Crystal, Robert, Alisha, Sonny, Robin, Billy, Tina and Jason; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many special nieces and nephews. "Dorothy grew up in Pageton and was a long time resident of Superior, both in McDowell County. She moved to Princeton in Mercer County to be closer to her children. "Before dedicating her life to her family, Dorothy was an employee of Stevens Clinic Hospital in Welch. During her 82 years, Dorothy developed many friendships, some of those being her “walking buddies” at the Mercer Mall, who gave her the nickname “Speedy,” one she truly earned. Walking was her passion. She would often say, “People tell me I’m too old to be walking this much,” and she would tell them, “How do you think I got this old.” When you remember Dorothy you can’t help but smile. “We can never fill her shoes. We will miss you everyday and remember you always.” "Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 7 p.m. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch with Pastor J. Franklin Adkins of Kellysville Church of God officiating.
