"Born Sept. 10, 1953, in Greenbrier County, he was the son of Nellie Rose Flesher Goode of Pineville and the late George Carl Goode.
"Mr. Goode was of the Church of the Nazarene faith. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed reading, playing musical instruments, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
"In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and sister, Nina Faye Robbins.
