"Fonnis Eugene Toler, 55, of Palestine, WV, formerly of Gilbert, WV, passed away on Saturday December 11, 2010 in Camden – Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. He was born June 4, 1955 in Logan, WV, the first son of Eugene and Zola Robinson Toler. Fonz attended the Riverview Freewill Baptist Church in Slabtown, near Tamcliff, WV. He cherished his family, was an avid hunter, loved his animals especially horses, his music playing and singing with groups or family. His most enjoyment in life was being with his family and friends. Wherever he would go he always had or made many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Fonz was always ready to help in any way that he could, when he was needed. He had a heart of gold, we’ll never forget. He was a disabled coal Miner last working for Red Ash Coal Co. in Ikes Fork, WV, was previous owner of T & T Discount Carpet in Elizabeth, WV. He was preceded in death by an infant son Michael Anthony Toler, an infant granddaughter Southerlyn Mychelle Toler, grandparents Nancy and Cecil Robinson and Betty and Garland Toler.
