"In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife: Claudine Walker; his sisters: Grethie Morgan and Janice Matney; his brothers: Larry Eugene Walker, Ernest Walker, John C. Walker and Bruce Walker, Jr.
"Doug enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family and friends. Doug served in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the U.M.W.A., he was also a member of the Browning Fork House of Faith.
"Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sister: Claudine Mitchem (Kenneth Peal) of Bassett, Virginia; his brother: Henry Walker of Sun Hill, WV. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
