"Joseph "Ken" Kenner Maynor, 81, of Oceana, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7,
2015 CAMC General, Charleston, WV. He was born on February 8, 1934 in Oceana, WV a son of the late Elbert
and Bertha Barber Maynor. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is a
member of Toneda Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, a United States Army Veteran,
attended Oceana High School, a member of the UMWA Local 7604 and he retired from Kopperston number
one mines. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Chilton Barber; five sisters Viola
Maynor, Geneva Hatfield, Verna Elswick, Burnas Barber Vance and Mary Maynor. Those left to cherish his
memory are his loving wife of 55 years Charlotte Fleenor Maynor; a daughter Dana Kay Maynor of Oceana; a
son David Allen Maynor and wife Terri of Oceana; three grandchildren Shauna Cook and husband Shawn of
Oceana, Leslie Maynor of Oceana and Lauren Maynor of Nashville, TN; three great grandchildren Raigen
