Born in Patrick County, Mrs. Walker had worked for several years at the Virginia Gift Shop.
The widow of Hobart G. Walker, Sr. she is survived by five sons, Gary Michael Walker of Fredericksburg, James M. Walker of Anniston, Ala. Hobart Walker, Jr. and Joe L. Walker both of Stafford, and Donald E. Walker of Spotsylvania; three daughters, Mrs. Anita J. Rose of Stafford, Mrs. Nancy Harrison and Nelda Lozano, both of Fredericksburg; one brother Leonard Walker of Shawnee, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Lessie Ferguson of Shawnee, Mrs. Genevieve Belle Brewster and Mrs. Mildred Mills both of Twin Branch, W.VA. and Mrs. Edith Thompson of Harrodsburg, KY.; 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren."A funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. James Truslow officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
