Crawford, 81, of Crestline, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Crestline Nursing Center, Crestline, after a lengthy illness."Irene was born in Bradshaw, WV on September 13, 1936 to the late Willard and Lilly (Atwell) Settles. She married Howard W. "Bill" Crawford on March 16, 1958 and he survives her.
"Irene has lived in Crestline since 1962, coming from Weston, WV. She attended Calvary Baptist Church, Crestline. She worked in the kitchen at the Crestline YMCA, baby sat for many years, and she and her husband cleaned at the Calvary United Church of Christ. Irene enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, cooking and decorating cakes.
"In addition to her husband she is survived by her children; Brenda and Jeffery Smith, Mansfield, Roger and Laurie Crawford, Edgewater, FL, daughter-in-law, Tammy Crawford, Norton, seven grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristi Smith, Rebecca and Mike Vodika, Jennifer Smith and Adam Knapp, Ryan Ramsey, Andrew Atzinger, Allison and James Butrick, Jr., Katy and Robert Lang, fourteen great-grandchildren, her sister, Mary Sullivan, Dayton.
