"1/22/99 - I am looking for any info on my grandmothers family. Her name was Armedia Meadows Bailey Blankenship. Her mom was Phalista and dad was William H. Meadows. She had 3 brothers, Wyatt, Adam, and George. This was in the 1875's or earlier. Her sisters were Gracie Meadows, Rosabelle and Rosalee Meadows, twins.
"We do know George migrated to the Knox Creek, Buchannon County, Va. area and married a Lydia Justus. They were murdered and beheaded by a robber in 1915 or later. My dad, Elice Bailey and his half brother, Oliver Blankenship are the last of his family. They reside in McDowell counties in a small rural town. They have little info to help me complete this family tree, any help would be greatly appreciated.
