"Marie was a life long member of the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Women's Circle of the church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and canning. She especially enjoyed making pies for her family and friends. She gave many quilts to her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Roy Lusk on May 19, 1993; two brothers, Gary and Charles Brown; a sister, Betty Brown; mother and father-in-law, Creed and Merlie Lusk; sister and brother in law, Lora and Arnold Lusk and a brother in law, Naaman Brown.
