He was a coal miner for 35 years of his life, an EMT, loved to hunt and fish, attended the Bolt Church of God, and most of all spending time with his Mom and Dad and family. "Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Genia Marie Acord, 4 sons: Lonnie D. French Acord, Jacob Wayne Acord, Matthew Shane Acord, and John Tally Acord; 3 daughters: Estaleah Suzette Acord, Kourtney Schiree’ Acord, and Jessica Rose Acord; 2 brothers Robert Wayne Acord and his wife Patricia ’Tossie’, Danny Lee ’DeeDee’ Acord and his wife Kelli; 1 sister: Lisa Acord (Smith), his only living uncle French ’Harlen’ Daniel Jr. all of Fairdale. "Margie was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, going to church, and being with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church at Justice and a homemaker. She always had a beautiful smile and a warm hug for everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
