"Rocy was raised in Double Camp in Brenton and was a member of the Brenton Southern Baptist Church. He enjoyed working, traveling, NASCAR and working in his yard. Rocy served three years in the U.S. Army. He retired from the coal mines after 40 years of service.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, James Russel Walker, Bobby Ray Walker, Raymond Walker, Roy Walker and Johnny Walker.
"He is survived and very much loved and respected by his wife, Bertha Hall Walker and children, Debra Dulcie and her husband, John, of Turkey Creek, Richard Walker and his wife, Kathy, of Pineville, Brian Walker and his wife, Janet, of Ronceverte and Denise Brumfield and her husband, Keith, of Clinton, Utah.

"Bertha loved her family and enjoyed every moment that she was able to be with them. She was a born again Christian and her walk with the Lord guided her and her family through the toughest times of her life. Bertha was a member of the Brenton Baptist Church, she loved her church, and in return they loved her. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and taking care of her family. Bertha was pillar of stone that we leaned on, her guidance, and wisdom will be missed, her loving smile and heart will never be forgotten.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years Rocy Walker, her sister Madge Compton, 3 brothers Robert, John, and Walter Hall, and her beloved mother-in-law Augusta Walker.
