Beckley, WV. He was born on November 15, 1933 in Raleigh, WV a son of the late Jerome Clay and Gladys
Bennett Clay Boblett. Jerome was a member of the Pineville Church of God and a United States Marine
Corp Veteran. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Marcella May Stewart
Clay; a son Robby Keith Clay; grandson Luke Christopher Clay; great grandson Zachary Aiden Clay; a sister
Betty Mansfield; and a brother Bobby Jean Clay. Survivors include a daughter Sheila (Lee) Harrison of
Pineville; three sons Steve Clay of Ambrose, GA, Randy (JoAnn) Clay of Broxton, GA and Chris (Melissa)
Clay of Beckley; a daughter-in-law Carla Clay of Fanrock; eight grandchildren Rickey (Jessica) Clay, Christy
(Mike) Laxton, Robert (Misty) Clay, Nikki (Norman) Loving, Cody Clay, Kaitlyn Clay, Trinity Clay and Brielle
