6. DNA tests that were performed on Larry E. Smith, when compared to those of Charles Wesley
Smith, highly demonstrate they have a common ancestor. I believe this to be Shorten and Lavina
Smith. Their sons, Shorten, Jr and Isaiah Smith are the links. Larry E. Smith is a direct descendant
of Isaiah and Shorten, Jr must be the father of Charles Smith, who is a direct ancestor of Charles
Wesley Smith. Charles was listed adjacent to his father, Shorten, Jr in the 1850 Census of Brown
Co, OH. Charles Wesley Smith has documented his ancestry back to this Charles Smith.
