a Beckley hospital following a long illness.
"Born Feb. 4, 1912, at Milam, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Nellie Cook Acord.
"Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and a member of the Primative Baptist Church, Pierpoint.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roma Cook; three
grandchildren, James Keith Acord, Michael Acord and Kathy Acord; and three brothers, Jack, Bill and
Willis A Acord.
"Those left to cherish his memory are a son, Jimmy D. Acord and his wife, Nancy, of Rockview; a
sister, Violet Harless of Clarksburg; a brother, Vernon Acord of Sylvester, Ga.; a grandson, Jeffery
