"Lois was a longtime member of Brenton Baptist Church. She was a proud born-again Christian who spent her life serving the Lord in so many ways. She enjoyed her time spent teaching Sunday School and dedicated many years to the Baptist Women group.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty- two years, Harry W. Pendry; her son, Harry “Hot Rod” Pendry; and two brothers, Gordon and Andrew Buchanan.

"On Thursday last, Jul 20, the grim reaper, Death, claimed one of Kimball's most public spirited citizens and properous citizens, B.D. Williams, one who for the past fifteen years had been identified with the town and its growth and prosperity. The cause of death was diabetes.
"B.D. Williams was born in Wales November 24, 1846 and at the time of his death was 64 yrs of
age. When yet a young man he emigrated from Wales to the United States and settled with his family in Pennsylvania. From Pennsylvania, about twenty-five years ago, he came to the coal fields of West
Virginia, where he spent the remainder of his life, the past fifteen years having been spent in Kimball.
He was engaged in the coal business almost during his entire residence. In this county until the past ten years when he has lived a retired life.."
"...The deceased is survived by the wife, Eliza Williams and a half brother, in Pennsylvania. An only
son, John Williams, died nearly six years ago, having met with an accident on 24 Aug 1905.
