"CYCLONE- George Posey "Doc" Toler, 79, departed this life, Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Logan Center Nursing Home following a long illness.
"Born September 18, 1927, at Cyclone he was the son of the late Day and Etha Toler.
"Mr. Toler was an avid deer hunter and gardener and looked forward each fall to going hunting and making apple butter with his family. He loved his grandchildren, and took a lot of pleasure in them visiting and watching them at play. Mr. Toler was very well known for making "Old Fashion Stack Cakes" (this was a family tradition passed down several generations) which he loved doing and everyone loved eating.
"He was baptized into the baptist faith in April 2007.
"Mr. Toler worked in the coal industry 42 years and retired in 1990 with 41 years with Eastern Associated Coal Corp. and was a member of Local Union 7604.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, six brothers, Raymond Pierce, James Pete, Ronald Paul, Prayther Lee, Pondy N. and William "Bill" Powell Toler.

"Born August 5, 1935, in Glen Fork he was the son of the late Alda and Maryland Trent Brown. He was raised by his grandparents, Howard and Martina Adkins Brown due to the death of his parents.
"Marion was a graduate of Glen Rogers High School and Marshall University. He earned a Master's Degree in 1970. He also attended West Virginia College of Graduate Studies and West Virginia University.
He retired from Wyoming County Board of Education in 1988 after 30 years. He was faithfully commited to being a teacher, coach and principal.
"He was member of the Glen Fork Baptist Temple. He also attended the Lillyhave Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,Frances Lee Grubb Brown.
