Toler and Anita Puckett Toler, Donald D. and Helen Blankenship Toler, all of Madison and aunts Celia Hughes Toler of Clear Fork and Marlene Toler Ford of Edmond, Ok. Also aunts and uncles: David H. and Wilma Aliff Ellis of Cross Lanes, and Marjorie R. Ellis and Gene Hasley of Camp Verde, Texas. Also Stephen has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. An attempt to find any enemies of Stephen proved fruitless.
"Stephen graduated from Gilbert High School in 1976 where he was the Gilbert High School Lion Football Manager under the direction of Coach Jerry Miller. Stephen was an avid fan of the Gilbert High School Lions Football and one of the highlights of his life was cheering the Gilbert “Lions” thru the 1995 Class A Championship in Wheeling.
"Stephen was a long time member of the Gilbert Vol. Fire Dept, and a member of the Gilbert Kiwanis Club. He was best recognized because of his efforts to keep the Town of Gilbert clean. For years Stephen daily cruised the town with his “buggy” on his daily rounds thru the rain, shine, snow or mud to keep Gilbert clean. Stephen was also recognized and received local, county and state recognition for these efforts. And he also received the “Hometown Hero” award from WSAZ Channel 3. Stephen was also inducted as a charter member by James H. “Buck” Harless as a Bridge Builder” at a formal dinner and program at the Marriott in Charleston, WV. A portion of the Larry Joe Harless Community Center recreation area is also named in honor of Stephen.
"Stephen was a member of the Sharon Height Assembly of God Church where he was a loving and devoted member, and he attended faithfully until illness prevented him from attending. He blessed everyone with his singing and his drama skits.

This Simpson Was Charlie L. Simpson, he was my uncle, Addison D. Simpson's brother. Charlie was born 3 September 1913 in West Virginia. Upon his death (1968) he lived with his family in Clear Fork West Virginia. Charlie and Belva had the following Children, Phyllis, Pete (Elmer), Mitch and Peggy.
