"She was born July 25, 1919, at Bearwallow, Va., the daughter of the late John and Virginia Altizer. "Helen was a faithful member of Brier Creek Tabernacle for 64 years. She enjoyed church, crocheting, and quilting. Helen also enjoyed the outdoors and playing with her great-grandchildren. "Mrs. Lusk was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, the Rev. Raymond Lusk; two sisters, M’ledge Altizer and Opal Thomas and husband, George; three brothers-in-law, Carmel Short, Glen Lusk and Jake Thomas; a great-grandson, Bryndon Wesley Berkhead; and a great-granddaughter, Angie Short Terigerson.
