"Clark Irvin Lockhart, affectionately known as “PG”, 80 of Panther, WV passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bluefield, WV surrounded by family and friends.
P.G. was born July 19, 1941 in Panther, WV a son of the late James Millard and Lorine Blankenship Lockhart. He was born handicapped but his disability did stop him from hanging out in the woods camping, four wheeling, and enjoying the simple things in life with his brothers, cousins, nieces and nephew throughout his life. P.G. loved the Lord and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents P.G. was preceded in death by one brother, James Leon Lockhart and one sister, Kathy Lorretta Justice."Survivors include three brothers, Harlen Lockhart of Williamsburg, KY, Larry (Donna) Lockhart of Panther and Merrill (Kathy) Lockhart of Stuart, VA; a sister-in-law, Carol Lockhart of Panther; and his closest family that he loved as his own, nephew Bradley, Mary, Adam, and Adyn Lockhart of Panther which P.G. made his home with prior to Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation and a host of other nieces and nephews, Teresa, Brandon, Amanda, Sarah, Harlen Jr., James, Christal, Kristy and Becky.
"An evening service will be held Thursday evening, April 21, 2022 from 6 to 9 p.m. with services beginning at 7 p.m. at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church, Greenbrier Mountain Road, Panther, WV. Elders Fred Bailey, Danny Hurley, Danny McCoy, David Lester, Iven Blankenship, Richard Staten and Arthur Short will be officiating services.
"Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Lockhart Cemetery, Short Pole Branch Road, Panther, WV. P.G. will be driven to his final resting place by nephews, Adam and Adyn Lockhart. ried by J. H. Viser on the 28th day of June in
1913. Sixteen children were born to this union.

"Mr. and Mrs. Cline are both deceased and
also nine of their children- Velvia, Johnny,
Gladys, Paul, Martha, Oscar, Elmer, Inez, and

four currently live in W. V. George Cline and his
family live at Panther in McDowell County. Roy
lives in Pineville, James in Oceana, and Betty
at Hichwood. Ronnie lives in South Carolina,
Ethel in Term., and Phyllis in Georgia.
"Thompson, better known as Tom, was а coal
miner and a very strong Union man. Myrtle was
a home maker and loved to home can the many
vegetables from the garden that she and her
husband grew. Many of the vegetables that they
grew were shared with neighbors and friends.
a'They lived in the Sandy River District at Pan-
ther, W. V. most of their lives where they farmed,
had fruit trees, and raised their family. They also
owned and operated а small grocery store at
Panther. They attended the Baptist Church.
"Tom’s hobby was growing flowers in his gar—
den and yard. ln the fall, he would have bas-
kets and baskets of bulbs that he would dig
from the ground to plant for the following year.
Myrtle’s hobby was cooking and the children
enjoyed stealing what they could from mom's
favorite dishes and sneaking off to hide and
enjoy their treats.
"Tom was the son of Maston and Mollie Trent
Cline. He was born on April 16, 1895 and died
on July 17, 1965. He had four brothers ー Harve,
Reece, Compton, and Johnny. Three sisters —
Della (called Dill), Chloe, and Elsie, He is
buried on Greenbriar Road in Panther in the
family cemetery.
"Myrtle was the daughter of Adam Bailey and
Alsie Lester Bailey. Her birth date was October
14, 7898. She died on September 3, 1.972. She
is also buried on Greenbriar Road in Panther/'n

Gracie was born April 30, 1946 in Panther, WV, a daughter of the late Hobart and Maudy Kennedy Lockhart. She was a teacher and evaluator for the McDowell County School System. Gracie was greeted with open arms by her husband, George Cline Sr., her children, George Cline Jr. and Bonita Gayle Cline; and her parents, Hobart and Maudy Kennedy Lockhart Those left here awaiting the reunion are her grandchildren, Tiffany England and husband Jason of Ironton, OH and George Cline III of Huntington, WV; the loves of her life: her great grandchildren, Cutler Jake and Harper Faith England.
