"BEESON – Avery Lee Lusk, 83, of Beeson, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born May 28, 1923 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late William Floyd Lusk and Jeanette Mills Lusk.
"Mr. Lusk worked on the state road, was a coal miner and worked in the timber industry. Avery delighted in his horses and spent many hours riding them. His other interests included trading, gardening and using his chainsaw.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving stepmother, Sue Kester Lusk; six brothers, Arthur Lusk, Brady Lusk, Dewey Lusk, Roy Lusk, Toy Lusk and Chester Lusk; and three sisters, Ella Hatcher, Versie Mills and Macie Clark.
