"Franklin Dewey Barber, 79, of Lillydale, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 26, 2014 at his home. He was born on June 2, 1935 in Clear Fork, WV, a son of the late Hugh Edward and Thelma Lettie Dixon Barber. Franklin worked at Robinson Phillips Coal Mines, and was a member of Clear Fork Valley Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Cubby Barber; a daughter Sandie Barber; two sisters Joesphine Kinser, and Maxine Hughes; and three brothers Bill, Bob and Don Barber. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years Janet Juanita Lester Barber; two daughters Kellie and Todd Cook and Rebecca and Steve Mullens; special friend of the family Wanda Cline; a sister Janice and Jim Browder; two brothers Roger and Gloria Barber, and Darrell Barber; five grandchildren Valerie Clark, Jessica Mullens, Johnathan Barber, Kayla Short, and Jacob Mullens; four great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
