He was born February 26, 1925 to Noah and Mary Harmon Coleman."Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Sally) Payne Coleman; daughter, Charlotte Ann Coleman; son-in-law, John Osborne; brothers, Alva Coleman, Eugene Coleman, Glen Coleman, Gleason Coleman, John (Doc) Coleman, and Noah Coleman; sisters, Juanita Whaley, Glenna Addair, and Othella Chafin.

illness, members of the Family Worship Center came to his home for church services. He was a
friend of countless families at the Saveway Store during their times of need. "He is survived by his devoted wife, June of 62 years; three daughters, Sue Mazol of Bluefield, Va.,
Jean Vance of Princeton and Rebecca Blanton of Atlanta, Ga.; son, David Payne Jr., of Johnson
City, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jody Mazol of Rock Hill, S.C., Sabrina Tippins of Moyack, N.C.,
