He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and watching the fish in his pond. Troy was a retired coal miner having worked for forty-three years in the mines and was a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed carpentry and woodcraft. Also, Troy was affiliated with the Iaeger Church of God.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Hazel Coleman, Sylvia Cline, Stella Mullins and Annalee Horn; and two brothers, Hertzel and Basil Coleman.

hereby swear that we were present, as witnesses, to the marriage of Willie Muncy and Callie Riffe,
performed by Rev. Wiser, the Methodist minister from Iaeger, W,. Va. The marriage took place in the
home of Daisy Jones at Avondale, W. Va. on the 23rd day of June, 1923. Rev Wiser failed to make
his return of the marriage to the County Clerks office in Welch, W. Va. and the marriage record is
incomplete due to this fact. This affidavit is for the purpose of completing the marriage record. Rev.
Wiser is now deceased and the certificate given to Mr. Muncy at the time of marriage was burned up
when his house burned.
"Witness our hands and seals this the 1st day of April 1961, at Welch, West Virginia."
