"Foster was born April 14, 1933 at Rockridge near Paynesville, WV, a son of the late James Harvey and Lou Emma Wallace Addair. He was a retired coal miner with 37 1/2 years in the mines. He was also an active member of the UMWA for 50 plus years. Foster was of the Pentecostal Faith. He enjoyed watching Reverend Donald Harding on the Living Faith Channel, and loved playing his guitar and banjo for the Lord.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cassie L. Matney, two half brothers, 2 half sisters, and his second mother, his mother-in-law, Cassie Vanover Wimmer.
