Mr. Cook was an Army veteran of World War II, was a member of Briar Creek Tabernacle and worked for United Gas Co. and Norfolk & Western Railroad. "He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret S. Cook; and a son, Warren D. Cline. Survivors include a daughter, Louise Kline and her husband, Lee, of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Tina Cline of Skin Fork; two sisters, Lona Finley of Huntington and Vaudaline Miller of Brenton; two brothers, Willie Cook of Briston, Tenn., and Jack Cook of Manassas, Va.; four grandchildren, Christopher Cline of Skin Fork and John Cline, Carolyn Cline and Pamela McIntyre, all of Florida. "Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with the Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. Burial will follow in Shannon Cemetery, Baileysville..."
